Arguably Triumph’s finest sports car, the TR5 combined all the best qualities of the earlier popular TR series, with a powerful fuel-injected, 2.5 litre, six-cylinder engine. Styled by the legendary Giovanni Michelotti, whose portfolio included the Maserati 3500 GT and Triumph Spitfire, the TR5 paired British engineering with unmistakable Italian flair.
This example was delivered new to New South Wales and remained in the care of a single owner from 1995 through to 2025. A comprehensive restoration was completed by the Healey Factory in 1997, bringing the car to an exceptional standard both mechanically and cosmetically.
Since then, the TR5 has earned numerous class and outright Concours wins, testament to both its quality and presentation. Of the 2,947 TR5 PIs built, only 33 are known to exist in Australia, making this a sought-after example of one of Triumph’s most iconic models.
