Noosa Concours d’Elegance | Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Targa

#33
1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Targa

Engine: 2.7 litre - 6 cylinder
Output: 210 horsepower

This rare 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Targa is one of just 42 Targa’s produced and one of only two factory right-hand drive cars finished in striking magenta pink for the UK market. Delivered with a black targa hood, it was uniquely optioned with both the factory “ducktail” rear spoiler and the seldom seen rubber lipped “picnic table” rear spoiler.

The car underwent a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration in 1990, with additional restoration work completed in the late 1990s to elevate it to Concours standard. It has featured in multiple Porsche publications and concours events, recognised for its distinctive specification and presentation.

Retaining its original number plates and showing 113,000 miles (182,000 km) travelled over its 51-year history, this exceptional Carrera has been carefully preserved by only four owners since new. It stands today as a highly collectable and beautifully finished example of Porsche’s celebrated 2.7 MFI series.
