This 1967 Porsche 911, an icon redefined, seamlessly blends classic design with contemporary performance. Originally conceived by F.A. Porsche, the son of company founder Ferry Porsche, the Porsche 911 emerged as a powerful successor to the Porsche 356, debuting at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show with its distinctive fastback design, flowing curves, and sporty attitude.
This particular vehicle is a remarkable feat of engineering and passion, where a 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was meticulously backdated to mirror the 1967 short wheelbase 911's aesthetic. Maintaining the original GT3’s 3.6-litre, 400 horsepower engine, gearbox, chassis, and suspension, this vehicle preserves the high-performance legacy while sporting the classic exterior of the 1967 donor car. The transformation was executed single-handedly by one dedicated craftsman over ten years.
Noosa Concours marks this car’s debut, having never been shown previously.
