Noosa Concours d’Elegance | Porsche 356 B T6

#11
1962 Porsche 356 B T6

Engine: 1.6 litre - 4 cylinder
Output: 90 horsepower - 67kW

Delivered to Hamilton’s in Melbourne in December 1962, this Porsche 356 B T6 originally boasted a Bali Blue exterior and red leatherette interior. Equipped with the Super 90 HP engine, tinted windows and chrome slotted wheels, it radiated elegance and performance.

Of the 300 right hand drive 356 B T6’s produced worldwide in 1962, only 44 were imported into Australia, with 10 featuring the Super 90 engine, making this car particularly rare.

After its early years in Melbourne, the car underwent a colour transformation to Oslo Blue before finding its way to Brisbane, where restoration efforts began, and it reclaimed its original colour and interior.

While its original engine was ‘lost’, the efforts of the previous owner led to the discovery of another Super 90 engine, close in number to the original, ensuring the preservation of its performance heritage.

This 356 B T6 represents Porsche's enduring legacy of timeless style and driving excellence.
