The Jaguar E-Type is widely acknowledged as one of the most beautiful cars ever built and in the 1960's it must have seemed out of this world. This unique Series 1 E-Type was masterfully restored in Tasmania with every nut and bolt removed to be refurbished or replaced. The motor was totally stripped down and built to standard factory specifications with the restoration stretching three years with three experts working on the vehicle every day.
The exterior paint, a fine metallic deep blue together with a metallic silver hardtop just beautifully complements the burnt orange leather and stainless-steel chequer plate interior. An authentic Heritage Certificate shows its production completion date of mid-November 1961 for the American market. A Mr G Crowder residing on the East Coast, took delivery at Jaguar Cars, New York. The certificate also showcases that this flat floor is the 119th built and is still a numbers matching car.
