The Fiat Dino Spider is the product of a remarkable collaboration between two of Italy’s most celebrated automotive names - Ferrari and Fiat. In the mid-1950s, Enzo Ferrari’s son, Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, worked with famed engineer Vittorio Jano to develop a lightweight aluminium V6 engine. A decade later, when Ferrari needed to homologate the engine for Formula 2 racing, they lacked the production capacity to meet the required numbers. Fiat stepped in, and the Fiat Dino was born.
Styled by renowned coachbuilder Pininfarina, the Dino Spider remains one of the most charismatic open-top sports cars of its era, balancing performance, elegance and Italian flair.
With just three owners from new and under the care of its current custodian for the past 34 years, the car retains its original coachwork and has been repainted in its factory green, presenting today as a beautifully preserved example of Italian automotive heritage.
