1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

Engine: 2.4 litre - 6 cylinder
Output: 195 horsepower - 145kW

The Dino 246 GT, an evolution of the iconic 206 GT, made its debut at the Turin Motor Show in November 1969. Produced from 1969 to 1974, it marked Ferrari's foray into mass production, earning acclaim for its exceptional driving dynamics and revolutionary design.

This 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, one of only 446 right hand drive models out of a total production of 2,295 vehicles, was originally delivered in the UK before finding its way to Australia in the 1990s. Acquired by the current owner in 2001, it underwent an extensive off-body mechanical restoration from 2012 to 2020.

Following its restoration, the vehicle has only made one public appearance, claiming the Shannons ‘Rolling Art’ Award at the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival in 2023.

Today, the Dino 246 GT is revered as a quintessential classic Ferrari, cherished by collectors worldwide for its timeless design, exemplary performance, and unmistakable Italian charm.
