1960 Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina Series II

Engine: 3.0 litre - 12 cylinder
Output: 237 horsepower - 177kW

Debuting in Milan in 1958, the Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe was a grand touring car with a distinctive style that would mark the face of Ferrari for years to come. Crafted at Pininfarina's Grugliasco plant in Italy, only 353 examples were made before its discontinuation in 1960.

This vehicle, one of only nine right-hand drive models produced, was initially delivered to W.H. Lowe in Melbourne in 1960. It was raced by Scuderia Veloce’s David McKay in 1961 at Longford, Tasmania and Bathurst, New South Wales, where it finished second place both times. It remained under the ownership of a single family until it was acquired by the current owners in March 2024. Six years ago, this 250 GT was meticulously restored by Roelofs Engineering in the Netherlands, ensuring that its every detail was both preserved and enhanced.

Having been featured in events such as the Ferrari Concorso d'Eleganza in ACT and NSW, and Motorclassica in Sydney, this Ferrari continues to captivate enthusiasts and collectors alike, turning heads and stirring hearts wherever it appears.
