The Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder is one of the most iconic and coveted designs in automotive history, highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
This recreation was conceived by a client who wanted the perfect Ferrari. Over 7 years in the making, this vehicle was painstakingly developed from the ground up as a bespoke build inspired by the original 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder.
The build commenced in 2016 with a semi-monocoque aluminium chassis, the body was custom crafted in the US by Ferrari restoration specialist Bob Norwood. The vehicle is powered by a Ferrari 456 5.5L V12 engine sourced from the UK, coupled with a new 6-speed LSA manual transmission. It features CNC billet aluminium push-rod suspension, adjustable billet coilover shock absorbers, and a high-end Brembo brake system, riding on period-correct Borrani Wheels. The interior features Nappa Italian leather, with genuine Ferrari NOS gauges and finishes.
Assembled by Concours Sportscar Restoration, this thoroughly modern interpretation of a timeless classic represents over 10,000 hours of dedicated craftsmanship.
