1961 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe DeVille

Engine: 6.4 litre - 8 cylinder
Output: 325 horsepower - 243kW

The 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe DeVille stands as a quintessential example of classic American luxury and style. Mildly restyled for 1961, both the Coupe DeVille and Sedan DeVille models were among General Motors’ most important and best-selling models.

This particular Coupe DeVille, with its striking Tunis Beige gold hued exterior has undergone a complete body and trim restoration in accordance with original factory specifications. The vehicle was won as a 1st prize by Australian champion professional golfer Bruce Crampton in 1961 after his triumph at the Coffey Cadillac Pro-Am in Michigan, USA. Following his win, Cadillac converted the car to right hand drive in Arlington before shipping it to Australia as a trophy, to avoid import duty.

Acquired from Mr Crampton by the current owner in 1982, this vehicle has never been shown in the USA, but has clinched numerous awards at General Motors events across NSW and Queensland, highlighting its celebrated status and exceptional preservation.
