Sleek, powerful, and eternally elegant, the Aston Martin DB5 remains one of the most recognisable and revered automobiles ever built. Immortalised by its association with James Bond, the Aston Martin DB5 transcended from a mere vehicle to become a cultural phenomenon.
Powered by a 4.0-litre DOHC straight-six engine with triple SU carburettors and paired with a five-speed ZF manual gearbox, the DB5 delivered exceptional performance wrapped in a lightweight, hand-built aluminium body. Its blend of luxury and engineering excellence defined the Aston Martin marque.
One of only 898 coupés produced between 1963 to 1965, this example was fully restored 15 years ago and, having since been maintained by Concours Sportscar Restoration, remains in superb condition. Shown here for the first time, it is a striking and highly collectable example of the car that became synonymous with the world’s most famous spy.
