Yalumba Wine Masterclass at Sails

Held in Sails Wine Bar, this masterclass is designed as a relaxed, guided wine experience – perfect for anyone who enjoys learning more about wine in an engaging, intimate setting.

Across the 90-minute session, you’ll be taken through a curated selection of premium wines, each one carefully chosen to showcase the heritage, craftsmanship, and distinctive style of Australia’s oldest family-owned winery. Jessica Hill-Smith, daughter of Robert Hill-Smith and sixth-generation member of the Yalumba winemaking family, will personally host the experience, sharing stories from the winery’s long history, insights into the winemaking process, and what makes each wine unique.

You can expect a more interactive format, where guests are encouraged to ask questions, discuss tasting notes, and deepen their understanding of wine in a welcoming, conversational environment. It’s not just about tasting, it’s about exploring how to appreciate wine, from aroma and structure to food pairing and regional character.
